Soho Revue look forward to exhibiting a group presentation surrounding concepts of play and bodily memory with the artists Lucy R. Whitehead, Lorena Lohr and Georgina Odell. Whitehead’s large canvases which hold soft figurative forms that fold and bend within themselves, echo the figures of Lohr’s work in imagined and real dreamscapes, both of which contrast distinctly with Odell’s razor sharp steel sculptural fortune tellers. The artists featured use their respective mediums to play with both materiality and illusion to create distorted feminine forms which capture the human essence - at ease, at play and in the re-telling of these memories and bodies.
